hi, i'm nuno from portugal, i recently bought an ARO 10.4 1.9D from 1999 without transferbox, does anyone knows where i can find one? or if there are anyone from other car's that fit in my ARO. please help me, i already looked everywhere and i didnt find anything

you may try a transfer box from Lada Niva
isn't good enough like aro, but it works

Transfer box from Lada you can find in Portugal, but for your Aro 10.4 I doubt, even in metal scraps!!...

hi i know someone who have one from lada niva 1.9d but it's PSA engine, you sure it works? plug and play?


the suzuki samurai pickup 1.9d doesnt have the same renault motor? does the transfer box fit my ARO?

gear box = cutie de viteze
transfer box = cutie de transfer
steering box = caseta de directie

this is all the "box" i know on a car.

I am not sure, but ARO whit Renault engine have ARO transfer box. I think the best ist, if You replace it whit the Original. In France You find older ARO 10 very cheep. Maybe You have the possibility to buy one from France. If I find one in Romania, it is no problem to bring it to Germany. But how we get it to Portugal? Whit some Truck driver?

I think that "Atlassib" is the best way of transport, indeed. Long distance, low price.

Okay! You have a Renault Diesel engine and a Renault geat box. You need the transfer box for this engine. I try to buy one from Romania, when I have it here, I send it whit Atlassib to Portugal.
