thanks .. I hoped that with just a little cutting i could fit 235/75/ 15. Has anyone ever tried

it will take you a lot of effort to turn the steering wheel when the car is stoped or running with very low speed. you will need musle power, because power steering....D@nARO wrote:

I've got 225/75 R 15 and they hit the front fenders on bumpy roads. Also when wheels are fully turned one side and the suspension is low the tyres rub against the rear part of in inner fenders, or how one calls them.
I'm gonna take new tyres and I calculated I need 205/70 R15 to get rid of any problems. But I have another kind of front fenders, you see that the arch comes lower than at your car.
As for the effort to turn the steering wheel, I wouldn't say 225 is too bad, if you inflate them properly, especially when driving it's fairly easy.
